The Trip to Haa in PIctures!

As Promised, here are some photos from my journey to Haa Valley in early September!
Hope you enjoy!

On our way - a Monastery

This man is also on his way...

These are the kids that greeted us
with "chillips" and "hello"

Some of Chimmi's family in Haa
From left to right Chimmi (my neighbor),
her sister, Signe, Sonam (Chimmi's daughter),
and a cousin, and i'm also in there.

Suspended bridge covered with prayer flags, in Haa

Two young Bhutanese men apparently just as curious
about Signe and I as we were of them.

These are the kind of signs you see
at the archery grounds in Haa, as well as
many other places in Bhutan

Taking a brief walk in and around Haa

The young monks playing soccer at the white temple in Haa

On our way back to Thimpu, climbing up; Haa Valley from above

Chilela Pass (approx. 4,000 meters)

A monastery tucked away up high in a mountain
Brief visit in Paro; Paro Dzong

More to come soon about my life here in Thimpu!

Happy Blessed Rainy Day! (Celebrating the end of the Monsoon Season here in Bhutan)
